In this class, students will reflect on the historical significance of jewelry in the transatlantic slave trade and reclaim its meaning by creating two pieces of their choosing, such as earrings, bracelets, or necklaces. Additionally, Nicole will provide a demonstration of her ceramic bead-making process.
